Here are DD60 predictions based on this weather predicted for Raleigh at this site:
http://nc.weather-forecast.ws/raleigh

The Five day DD60 accumulation would be:

Dates 5-day DD 60's Planting Conditions
April 20-24 =   54.5 Excellent
April 21-25 =   46 Good
April 22-26 =   33 Good
April 23-27 =   28 Good

Notice that the five day DD60 accumulation decreases during this period. It is not unusual to see a cool front come in at the end of April or first part of May. Hopefully this is not signaling a period that will delay planting. On the bright side they predict a good chance of rain on the 21st, 22nd, 25th and 26th.

The relationship between DD60's and planting conditions.

DD60's accumulation in the 5 days following planting
Planting Conditions
Less than 10 Very Poor
11 to 15 Marginal
16 to 25 Adequate
26 to 50 Good
>50 Excellent
